In addition to keeping fans informed, the app encourages interaction by allowing users to connect with one another, share opinions, and engage in discussions. Fans can also post their own content, creating a more interactive and community-driven experience centered around their team.
Problem Statement
Fans of professional hockey in South Carolina currently lack a centralized, community-driven platform to express their enthusiasm, connect with fellow fans, and engage with the new expansion team. While major league websites and social media platforms offer general content, they do not provide a local, personalized experience that builds a strong hockey culture in the community. The SC Icebreakers fan site fills this gap by offering mobile-first, fan-generated content tailored to the South Carolina hockey community.
